Today we arrived in the beautiful country of the Dominican
Republic. Our group consists of 10 teens and 5 chaperones. Niki and I have been
on this trip before, where we took multiple flights, so we were very happy to
hear we had a direct flight from Dulles to Punta Cana. We arrived much earlier
than in years past, therefore we got to spend our first day enjoying the beach
and relaxing by the pool. We appreciated the time to spend resting up for our
busy week ahead!
We all came together this evening for dinner as a group. We
were able to introduce ourselves and begin mingling with all the other teens.
Niki and I look forward to the rest of the week. We hope to grow closer as
sisters through this 4-H experience.
